Tyler is a Bay Area native and has been living in the San Jose area since 2007. He graduated from Biola University and Western Seminary. Tyler is the author of zero books, but he has read a few. He lives in San Jose with his beautiful wife and his three amazing kids. Tyler is a lifelong and die-hard fan of the Warriors. He has been serving at Lincoln Glen Church since January of 2019. Lincoln Glen Church means so much to Tyler’s family because his wife grew up going this church.

Evelyn, a bilingual Missouri native, has called California her home for over 20 years. She is the daughter of Pastors Richard and Debra Lax. She has the heart of a missionary, a deep love for God, children, art, food, language and of course music! She is the recent recipient of two associate’s degrees; one in Liberal Arts and Humanities and the other in Spanish. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Spanish Degree at San Jose State University.

Larry Albright became the first Minister of Music for Lincoln Glen Church in 1978. He is currently serving the church as the Pastor of Care and is active in worship and small group leadership at LGC. Larry graduated from Tabor College in Kansas in 1976 and was married that same year to Debi Albright. After teaching music in the state of Kansas for 2 years, Larry and Debi accepted the offer to move to San Jose and serve at Lincoln Glen Church in music Ministry. Larry and Debi have been married for over 40 years and serving at Lincoln Glen Church for over 40 years. The Albrights have 2 daughters, Angela and Kristen.

Debi was born in Ohio and lived in several places in Ohio and Pennsylvania growing up. She met her husband, Larry, while attending Tabor College in Kansas. They got married in 1976 and moved to San Jose in 1978. After having 2 amazing daughters, she went to San Jose State to earn her credential to teach Special Education at the elementary level for 16 years. After retiring, she substituted for a few years then began coordinating the Children’s Ministry and overseeing the rentals at church. Her passion is that all kids learn about the love of Jesus through teaching, singing songs, doing arts and crafts supporting the lesson and having fun. With much prayer and guidance, the hope is that they will choose to follow Jesus themselves someday. She shares this ministry with other incredible, dedicated teachers and helpers.

We have a combined youth group, called Ignite, with our friends from Tekoa Church in San Jose. Tim is one of the pastors at Tekoa Church and runs Ignite. Tim is a husband, dad, entrepreneur, worship leader and so much more! He is passionate about communicating the hope of Jesus to high school and junior high students and would love to help get your kids or grandkids connected at Ignite!

Julie was born and raised in San Jose. She attended San Jose State and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Julie married her husband, Darren, in 2000, and together they have 2 fabulous daughters, Jenny and Claire, and a rambunctious dog, Zoey. Julie is excited to be on staff at Lincoln Glen Church!

Esther supports the mission of our church in so many ways! One of her greatest gifts is the ability to make it fun to come to work. Because of this she was given the title Chief Moral Officer! Esther is originally from Oregon but has been living in San Jose since 1971. She is married to Reggie and they have a son, daughter, stepdaughter and 4 wonderful grandchildren. She retired from being an office manager at a Law Firm in 2000. She started volunteering in the Lincoln Glen Church office ever since. Esther and her husband have attended Lincoln Glen since 1997.

Kathleen Nicolas has been volunteering at Lincoln Glen Church for over 10 years! She is in charge of gathering all the music sheets from Sunday’s Worship Service and organizes them every week. Kathleen enjoys golf, dancing, participating in the Self Determination Progam and she bakes the best cookies!
